Estimator

Evolve Talent are partnering with a leading remedial construction company seeking an experienced Estimator to join their growing team. In this role, you will play a key part in preparing accurate cost estimates and tender submissions across a diverse range of remedial and refurbishment projects within the residential, commercial, and heritage sectors. You will work closely with Project Managers, site teams, subcontractors, and clients to deliver competitive, commercially sound, and high-quality tender outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates, BOQs, and tender submissions for remedial construction projects
  • Review drawings, specifications, and project documentation to assess project scope and risks
  • Source and negotiate pricing with subcontractors and suppliers
  • Conduct site inspections and attend pre-tender meetings where required
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors
  • Prepare tender programmes, scopes of work, and procurement schedules
  • Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving initiatives
  • Assist with project handovers to delivery teams upon award
  • Maintain estimating databases and pricing records
  • Ensure tenders are submitted accurately and within deadlines

About You

• 2-5 years experience estimating remedial, refurbishment, façade, waterproofing, or structural repair projects
• Strong understanding of construction methodology, procurement, and project costing
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail and commercial awareness
